Commission on Science and Technology for Development

The Commission on Science and Technology for Development (CSTD) is a subsidiary body of the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), established in 1992. It serves as the United Nations‘ focal point for science, technology, and innovation (STI) for development, and for reviewing progress on the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) outcomes.
