How to apply for MainMUN

To apply for Main Model United Nations 2012, please follow this link to our Application Form.
The application will be open until December 15th, 2011.

In order to be forwarded to the form, you have to accept a public key certificate.
Depending upon which browser you use, you have to reproduce the following steps:

If you are presented with the writing 'Thank you delegate your application has been accepted!' after you filled in your data and clicked the button 'Send Form', we received your application.

Please note that every country in every committee will be represented by a single delegate.

Conference Fee

At MainMUN 2012 we will provide you with food, facilities, and services. In order to cover our expenses the conference fee for each participant will be 60,- EUR. Please transfer the fee to the account stated below within 2 days after you have applied.

As reason for payment (Verwendungszweck), state: Projektnummer 640 302 00, MainMUN (it is of utmost importance to provide this information; otherwise your payment will not be directed to our account!)

We thank you for your understanding that we can only assign a country to you after having received the conference fee. Please note, that we cannot refund the fee to those delegates who cancel their participation after January 1st, 2012. Thank you.

Furthermore, please note, that delegates from abroad will only be recognized for participation if they have valid visa. Unfortunately, the team of MainMUN 2012 can not provide any help concerning visa procedures.

If you need an RMV-Ticket (for public transportation during the conference) please check the appropriate box in the application form. The RMV-Ticket is sold sepparatly at conference and will only cost around 5-7€ for the duration of the entire conference (Thursday through Sunday – the exact price depends on the number of participants).By checking the box for RMV-Ticket you are required to purchase the ticket.“

Country Assignments

Please be aware that for the Security Council we only accept candidates that have MUN experience.

We will try to provide everybody with the country of his/her choice. We will contact you via email and let you know which country you are going to represent at MainMUN 2012.
